Marketing is defined as the act or the process of selling or purchasing in a market or a Niche. It is also known as the process, The techniques, and the strategy of promoting, selling, and distributing products or services. Traditionally, the purpose of Marketing is to place the product in front of dream customers and vice versa.
If there’s a Market, there must be a product or a service to offer and if there’s a product or service to offer, there must be a Market, so Marketing is when we talk about how (the strategy) to reach customers in a Market or people in a Niche.
Therefore, what is Marketing? How can it be an asset for a business to grow and scale its revenue?
In today’s world, a world of so many changes. A world that has shifted on the internet creating a global market so now we cannot just talk about :
– The Outbound Marketing method.
– Direct Response Marketing Strategy.
– Mass-Marketing method
But also,
– the Global Marketing strategy.
– Internet Marketing, Social media Marketing.
– Influencer Marketing.
– Online Marketing.
– Content Marketing and Digital Marketing.
However, you must never forget that, as a process, Marketing is what helps you as a marketer to do market research, find your Niche or your target market then create and bring value to that niche or especially to the people who are in that target market, that’s what we call ” Getting people’s attention.”
Customer Acquisition Process. ( C.A.P)
Peter Drucker Wrote: – ” The aim of Marketing is to make selling superfluous.” Have you remarked that he did not use “Sales” but “Selling” instead? We cannot talk about Marketing or yet ” Digital marketing” without underlining a very important part: What we call the “Customer Acquisition process.” which is a sales funnel.
SALES FUNNEL = C.A.P
A sales funnel is, according to me, the exact same thing as a Customer Acquisition Process (C.A.P) However, what I am
talking about here? A sales funnel or a C.A.P. is just a system used in Marketing to sell a product or a service – It is all about Marketing. So whether it is an Offline Business or an Online Business ( Digital Business), The Customer Acquisition Process or the sales funnel is a very important part of its foundation. Therefore, for any business to have a strong foundation, it will need a sales funnel crafted according to the purpose of the business and the vision of the entrepreneur who is responsible for visualizing the funnel. Choose your target market – know your Audience.
Before you can build a Customer Acquisition Process you will need to honestly understand your target audience and really engage with them. Get deeply interested in their concern and show it every time you have a chance to do it. Let me ask you a question: if your target audience were an individual ( a person), who would you like that person to be?
– What would be his name?
– How old would that person be?
– What would he be interested in?
– What would he be afraid of?
– What would be his values, principles, and belief?
– What would he like
– Where would he like to be or go?
Make the difference between PROSPECTING & POSITIONING.
That’s why it is vital to know your audience … That allows you to position yourself, your product, or your service as the natural and the right choice for them – The most obvious and possible option for them out there, better than all competitors; if they want to either make money online or have a very successful online business. Don’t mess with it. Once you have done that, you can start thinking of your sales funnel. That’s what I call positioning.
Having the right positioning will make:
– Seek for you and go after your product or your service.
– People think about you when they want to become a Digital Entrepreneur and Marketer.
– You set your terms and conditions of interactions.
– You decide when to work and who to work with.
– Will set you in a position of Dominion and power – so be ready to dominate.
WHEN YOU PROSPECT…
You’re always going after customers, chasing prospects and that will make you spend lots of money. Prospecting will make people run away from you. Your business will not be scalable and you can’t grow either.

Start capturing Leads as soon as possible.
If you currently have a business and you’re capturing Leads, you can start doing it as soon as you can using:
1. A reward program to collect leads.
2. Offer your service or help for free.
3. A lead magnet.
4. Give away books on Internet Marketing or Online Business etc.
5. Offer to create free video Marketing to help start.
6. And so on.
